We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at Landscape Services. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of grounds maintenance across our customer contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily works for our customer contracts, maintaining an excellent level of customer service
  • Ensure health and safety practices are maintained at all times, identifying risks and escalating issues to senior staff
  • Complete safety checks on equipment and use all equipment and materials correctly and safely
  • Liaise with customers, resolving any concerns, difficulties or issues, and reporting problems and actioning instructions as required
  • Support inclement weather works, such as snow clearing or flooded areas

Requirements:

  • Grounds maintenance knowledge, ideally in a similar role
  • Knowledge of horticulture and operational procedure
  • Demonstrable mowing and related experience
  • Demonstrable machinery maintenance knowledge and skill
  • Ability to commute to Tonbridge for work
