We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Staff Match. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for supporting and directing staff in the room, ensuring adult/child ratios are met, and working with the EYFS Curriculum to plan engaging activities for children.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and direct staff in the room to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Work with the EYFS Curriculum to plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Ensure regular observations and assessments are completed for key children
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers through effective communication and collaboration
- Comply with the nursery's Health & Safety and Safeguarding policies
- Participate in parents' evenings, open days, and other events to promote the nursery and engage with the community
- NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification
- Experience working with children under 5 years old
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable)
- Pediatric First Aid (desirable)
