School Site Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented School Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our school premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the school buildings and facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and secure state.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the school premises, including the development and implementation of a comprehensive cleaning schedule.
- Manage a team of cleaners and contractors, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and on time.
- Develop and implement a maintenance program to ensure the school premises are well-maintained and free from defects.
- Supervise the monitoring of all building services, including alarm systems, gas, electricity, water, sewerage, heating, and ventilation.
- Manage fault logs and maintain records of all maintenance and health and safety checks.
- Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with legislation and school procedure.
- Act as the School Health and Safety Officer and Fire Safety Co-ordinator, ensuring that all practices and emergency procedures are safe and adhere to H&S requirements.
- Undertake annual premises risk assessments and organize plans and procedures for emergency situations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role or in a related field.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and legislation.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
