Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at our headquarters in Staple Hill, Bristol. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will handle all technical aspects of pump sales, providing critical support from enquiry stage to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Sales Director and coordinate projects, producing scope of work documents, cost estimates, and technical literature.
  • Enter orders on our SAP system, submit quotes, and produce accurate cost calculations for the manufacture, repair, or servicing of components.
  • Liaise with other departments on capacity, material, and subcontract requirements.
  • Clarify tender requirements with clients, negotiate costs or delivery timelines, and provide technical responses to customers and vendors.
Requirements:
  • A good engineering background with experience in services, repair, and maintenance of pumps, valves, compressors, and rotating equipment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation and negotiating skills, and the ability to plan and prioritise your workload effectively.
  • A BTEC qualification in Engineering or equivalent.
