About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our team at HMP Preston. As a key member of our integrated Mental Health team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the mental health needs of our patients, ensuring their physical, social, and psychological needs are met.
  • Assess patients' needs and develop holistic healthcare plans, providing evidence-based care and promoting best practice.
  • Deliver non-judgmental care, promoting a culture of shared learning and continuous quality improvement.
  • Share knowledge, skills, and expertise to ensure safe care and support the development of our team.
