**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Generator Service Engineer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a Generator Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing onsite customer support to our range of generator machinery within the region, with a primary focus on keeping the machinery in peak operating condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Key Responsibilities:- Work both in a workshop and site environment to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Service and repair generators and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment.
- Ensure work/personal equipment complies with all safety standards.
- Present a professional image at all times.
- Take responsibility for health and safety of self, colleagues, and customers in line with the Company Health and Safety Policy.
- Minimum 5 years generator experience.
- Knowledge of engines, alternators, control panels, and wiring diagrams.
- Solid mechanical aptitude.
- Diagnostic and leadership skills able to work in a team or alone.
- Full Driving Licence.
- Ability to service the range of plant-based machinery.
- Salary: £37,440- £38,480.
- Working hours: 40 hours a week.
- Overtime available.
- Holiday Package: 22 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays.
