Head of Finance Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Finance to join our dynamic team at Easy As HGV. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial success across our nationwide group of companies.

As Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and finance department, developing and implementing effective financial strategies to support long-term business objectives, and managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will also conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making and identify areas for cost optimization and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accounting and finance department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, including deferred income.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making and identify areas for cost optimization and growth.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set and achieve company-wide financial goals.
  • Present financial insights and recommendations to the board and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure robust financial controls, risk management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of finance professionals.
  • Handle daily tasks such as payment runs, wage checks, transaction setups, and pricing suggestions.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Relevant accounting qualifications preferred (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for accounting.
  • Experience in financial management, financial planning, and analysis (FP&A).
  • Proficient in financial software, particularly Sage, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent communication skills, particularly in presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities.
  • Adaptable to new environments and challenges.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: £50,000 - £65,000.
