Ticket Barrier Operations Assistant

Position Overview:
As a Ticket Barrier Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing the ticket barriers while providing exceptional support and information to our customers.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering outstanding customer service to enhance the passenger experience.
- Assisting in the daily management of automated ticket barriers.
- Ensuring the safety and security of customers while addressing their inquiries.
- Conducting ticket inspections and issuing tickets as necessary.
- Responding to customer needs during service interruptions.
- Maintaining a tidy and professional appearance of the gateline area by removing litter and ensuring clear pathways.
- Facilitating ticket sales through a mobile ticketing system and managing related financial processes.

Additional Information:
This role involves shift work, including weekends and public holidays, and operates on a rotating roster. The earliest start time is 0550, and the latest finish is 2230.
Applicants will be required to complete an online situational judgment assessment upon application submission. Those shortlisted will participate in a competency-based interview, which may be conducted in person or virtually. Successful candidates must meet the medical standards for the position, including a drug and alcohol screening, and a basic DBS check is also required.
