Job Title: HVAC Commercial Gas Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Commercial Gas Field Service Engineer to join our team in Scotland. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their commercial heating and plumbing assets are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform reactive and proactive maintenance on commercial heating and plumbing systems
  2. Attend scheduled planned maintenance visits (PPMs) to ensure optimal system performance
  3. Support office staff and liaise with suppliers to identify required parts for jobs
  4. Liaise with clients to manage relationships and service delivery
  5. Maintain water supply systems, locate and repair issues with water supply lines, and repair or replace broken drainage lines
  6. Service and repair gas heating boilers in commercial premises and install and maintain gas heating systems
  7. Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure
  8. Participate in out-of-hours on-call rota
Requirements:
  1. Excellent understanding of commercial and domestic plumbing systems
  2. Possess comprehensive technical skills to fault find and rectify
  3. Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  4. Flexible approach to work, with ability to work out of hours when required
Desirable:
  1. IT literate with a tablet or PDA
  2. Experience of working in a field-based engineering/construction environment
  3. Air Conditioning Systems Experience
  4. Renewable technology
Personal Qualities:
  1. Good organisational skills and a can-do attitude
  2. Able to use own initiative
Qualifications:
  1. Driving Licence
  2. Gas Qualified - Domestic and Commercial heating
