Building Services Engineering Manager

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a great business who are hiring for a Building Services Engineering Manager to deliver the M&E obligations on a hard FM contract at a large commercial site. With this opportunity, you will provide line management duties for an engineering team of 12. You will be responsible for the management and delivery of maintenance schedules and lead and manage all planned maintenance activity on site.
The Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of services to the highest standard, ensuring the effective management of staff, the provision of excellent customer service.
- To assist with the effective management of M&E Performance, including the incurrence of financial penalties, to ensure that all services are delivered to the contract specification.
- Ensure contract compliance with all auditing bodies both internal and external.
- To ensure appropriate training provisions on induction and use of equipment and to identify training needs for the service.
- Manage all associated subcontracted services and to ensure that subcontractors are able to carry out their duties in a safe and timely manner.
- Champion continuous improvement, energy efficiency, and environmental improvements.
- To deputise for the Senior Operations Manager, Hard Services in their absence.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical (Or Equivalent)
- Experience working within SFG20 Regs
- Great time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
