Position Summary:

Our client is a leading entity in the aerospace sector, embarking on an innovative project focused on the development of next-generation aircraft.

We are in search of an Avionics Maintenance Specialist / Aircraft Technician / Aircraft Engineer to join our mission system cabinet assembly team. This production unit is tasked with constructing mission system cabinets that accommodate line replaceable units and related wiring for advanced Airborne Early Warning and Control Aircraft. The ideal candidate will possess experience with assembly and modification drawing sets, as well as expertise in wiring installation and termination, with anticipated training in EWIS.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Disassembling, reassembling, and modifying aerospace vehicle systems by altering, removing, replacing, or upgrading components to rectify failures or implement enhancements.
  • Overseeing the assembly, disassembly, or overhaul processes, configuring aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment, and diagnosing intricate pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify and repair faults.
  • Conducting validation and verification testing of systems and components, documenting procedures to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards, inspecting components for airworthiness, and supervising training.

Key Duties:

  • Assembling mission systems cabinets, which includes the installation of wiring harnesses to cabinet structures and completing final terminations and connections.
  • Collaborating within a workshop environment as part of a small, dedicated team.
  • Installing pre-fabricated wiring harnesses according to wiring specifications.
  • Executing final connections and terminations.
  • Installing and bonding panels and components.
  • Assisting with airflow testing at designated sites.
  • Documenting and certifying work using the GOLDesp MRO IT system.
  • Ensuring all tasks comply with Boeing specifications.

Note: The ability to obtain SC Clearance is essential for this position.
