About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior HR Business Partner to join our team at the British Medical Association. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the organization's strategic objectives and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to senior leaders and managers on a range of HR-related issues, including organizational change, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives to drive business growth and improve employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver training programs, policies, and procedures that support business objectives.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary matters, and performance issues.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, managers, and employee representatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing employment laws and regulations, and provide guidance on compliance.

Requirements:

  • Hold or working towards Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (MCIPD) Level 5 or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience working in a blended HR advisory, or business partnering model dealing with a broad range of strategic, transactional, and operational HR issues within a professional membership organization, public and/or charity sector organization.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
