Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for arranging the supply of products and services to support our business operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Procure materials, plant, sub-contract, and services requirements across all business units.
- Maximize the use of existing and new framework agreements for use by Colas Road UK.
- Support the development and implementation of effective strategic procurement solutions to benefit Colas Road UK in terms of process optimization, innovation, and carbon reduction solutions.
- Ensure procurement is carried out in compliance with Colas Road UK governance and procurement processes and procedures.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a buyer or senior buyer in a similar role, preferably within the construction or infrastructure industry.
- Familiarity with Procurement ERP systems (e.g., COUPA, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent negotiation, contract management, and problem-solving skills.
