Job Description

We are seeking a Project Engineer to support our project manager with various tasks, including quality control, temporary works, health & safety, design, and supervising the engineering team. The successful candidate will take the lead on enabling works packages (demolition, temporary works, and RC Frames) and report to the onsite Project Manager.

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in civil engineering and have a strong, stable career working for an enabling works subcontractor in London, gaining experience in demolition, RC Frame, and groundworks projects. Postgraduate experience of at least 5 years is required, and the ability to work in Central London (Zone 1) is essential.

We offer a strong basic salary of £65,000 to £75,000 per annum (depending on experience), in addition to the usual company benefits associated with a leading civil engineering contractor. We are happy to consider professionals who are CIS or self-employed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the project manager with quality control, temporary works, health & safety, design, and supervising the engineering team.
  • Take the lead on enabling works packages (demolition, temporary works, and RC Frames).
  • Report to the onsite Project Manager.
  • Work in Central London (Zone 1) and have a strong understanding of the local area.
