Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hygiene Specialist to join our team at Greencore. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our food manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily cleaning and sanitizing of all food manufacturing areas, equipment, and machinery to meet food safety standards.
  • Schedule and perform deep cleaning of large machinery and equipment.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, including chemical suits, visors, wellingtons, gloves, and safety goggles.
  • Work in both chilled and hot environments.
  • Complete paperwork to document cleaning activities.
  • Promote a culture of good health and safety within the workplace.
  • Use and store chemicals safely.
  • Report any damaged equipment or machinery.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of English, both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience is an advantage, but not necessary.
  • Training and education will be provided.
