Senior Accountant Position

Reed is partnering with a top 30 Accountancy Practice to find a Senior Accountant to join their team in Christchurch.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare financial statements and tax computations for various entities, including limited companies, partnerships, and charities.
- Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and other departments to obtain necessary information for account preparation.
- Deliver exceptional client service and support.
- Review and manage account work, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage internal workflow and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Assist in implementing technological solutions in accounting.
- Prepare VAT returns and provide ad-hoc client support.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Christchurch office.
- ACA/ACCA qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Previous experience with CCH, Xero, Quickbooks, and Sage is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proactive and positive attitude, with Xero certification.
