We are excited to present a distinctive opportunity within the Tesco Marketing division for a Senior Digital Advertising Strategist. This role is integral to one of the largest and most successful in-house media teams in the UK.
The primary focus of this position is on marketing technology, enhancing the effectiveness of addressable advertising by leveraging our first-party data (1PD) and personalisation strategies in paid media.
This role is ideal for individuals with a robust background in digital advertising, particularly those who have collaborated with media agencies, internal client teams, and key industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Enhancing media effectiveness and returns through the application of 1PD across planning, execution, and measurement, in collaboration with internal teams and our media agency. Overseeing the utilization and evolution of our marketing technology strategy in partnership with technology and procurement teams, ensuring we remain leaders in the industry with access to top-tier tools and platforms. Developing and implementing strategies for addressable media across campaigns, maximizing returns through the use of our 1PD and personalisation. Driving efficiencies in marketing technology usage across the Tesco group, including our retail media initiatives via the Tesco Media & Insight Platform. Building and nurturing relationships with key media partners to ensure Tesco remains at the forefront of new developments and opportunities in the industry.Qualifications Required
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a digital marketing role is essential. Experience in digital marketing roles, either within a media team on the client side or at a media agency. In-depth knowledge of digital channels and addressable media. A solid understanding of the ad tech landscape and its key players.Benefits
