Accounts Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Administrator to join our team at React Recruitment Limited in Gravesend. As an Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate and process invoices, raising discrepancies with suppliers as needed.
  • Perform daily bank and monthly credit card reconciliations.
  • Manage credit control and reconcile supplier statements.
  • Create new customer and supplier accounts, as well as maintain databases.
  • Manage petty cash and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Reconcile HMRC deferment statements.
  • Submit customer invoices on various portals, including SAP, Coupa, and Tradex.
  • Handle telephone calls and queries from suppliers and customers.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new processes to increase efficiency.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6-months experience in an Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable role is essential.
  • Able to commit to the advertised hours and demonstrate flexibility to meet business needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • A logical and methodical approach to work.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
