Join Veolia as a Maintenance Engineer Apprentice

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer Apprentice to join our team at Veolia. As a Maintenance Engineer Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform nightly engineering checks, including fire-watch checks, guard checks, machine checks, and emergency stops
  • Complete Preventive Maintenance (PPMs) on systems and machines, including conveyors, crushers, optical sorters, and motors
  • Respond to breakdowns and complete work orders/reports
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce downtime on Process/Plant
Requirements:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience working with conveyors is highly desirable
