Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Keltbray Group. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional commercial results and maximizing profit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the commercial team in providing support to the contract delivery team to ensure profitability, cash management, cost control, and accurate reporting of all schemes.
  • Input into the application and credit control processes.
  • Understand income forecast and pricing of variations.
  • Understand the change control system.
  • Understand project risk.
  • Understand the production of CVRs.
  • Understand CTC.
  • Understand the production of forecasting data.
  • Understand the costing process.
  • Manage the full sub-contract cycle and input into sub-contract documentation.
  • Assist with weekly cost to complete/budget reviews with the contract delivery teams.
  • Upload documentation as necessary, in line with business requirements.
  • Review weekly site records including allocation sheets and site diaries.
  • Attend project progress meetings.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial performance reports.
Requirements:
  • Ensure that the group commercial policies are adhered to and that the requirements of legislation are met.
  • Manage commercial performance against business targets and KPIs.
  • Work with the commercial and operational teams to strive for continuous improvement.
  • Promote a culture of integration, continuous improvement, and use of best practices across the client base.
  • Assist with the use of key lean tools to drive efficiencies and reduce waste.
  • Encourage, support, and assist with the delivery of successful collaborative planning with the contract delivery teams.
  • Commit to their own professional development, and that of others across the Business Unit.
