We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Keltbray Group. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional commercial results and maximizing profit.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the commercial team in providing support to the contract delivery team to ensure profitability, cash management, cost control, and accurate reporting of all schemes.
- Input into the application and credit control processes.
- Understand income forecast and pricing of variations.
- Understand the change control system.
- Understand project risk.
- Understand the production of CVRs.
- Understand CTC.
- Understand the production of forecasting data.
- Understand the costing process.
- Manage the full sub-contract cycle and input into sub-contract documentation.
- Assist with weekly cost to complete/budget reviews with the contract delivery teams.
- Upload documentation as necessary, in line with business requirements.
- Review weekly site records including allocation sheets and site diaries.
- Attend project progress meetings.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial performance reports.
- Ensure that the group commercial policies are adhered to and that the requirements of legislation are met.
- Manage commercial performance against business targets and KPIs.
- Work with the commercial and operational teams to strive for continuous improvement.
- Promote a culture of integration, continuous improvement, and use of best practices across the client base.
- Assist with the use of key lean tools to drive efficiencies and reduce waste.
- Encourage, support, and assist with the delivery of successful collaborative planning with the contract delivery teams.
- Commit to their own professional development, and that of others across the Business Unit.
