Manufacturing Automation Specialist

Orion Electrotech is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for automation and robotics to drive cutting-edge automation projects in our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement innovative automation and robotic systems to streamline production processes.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve quality, and increase efficiency in our manufacturing operations.
- Troubleshoot automation systems and recommend solutions for repairs or upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure automation solutions meet both operational needs and industry regulations.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by optimizing designs for automation and improving production efficiency.
- Develop inspection strategies using the latest vision and sensor technologies to ensure high-quality products.
- 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in Automation or Robotics.
- Advanced skills in RAPID programming and C++.
- Hands-on experience with robotic assembly line simulations and sensor vision systems (Cognex, Keyence).
- Excellent communication and project management abilities to drive automation projects forward.
- Degree Educated in an Engineering discipline.
- Expertise with RAPID, Solidworks, TIA Portal, and Robot Studio.
- Certified in PLC programming and Six Sigma methodologies.
