Bristol BACE Project Worker

Barnardo's is seeking a dedicated and passionate Project Worker to join our Bristol BACE team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people at risk of exploitation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emotional and practical support to young people, working alongside them to address their needs and concerns.
- Confidently and creatively engage children and young people, using a range of strategies to build trust and rapport.
- Have a sound grasp of child protection, safeguarding processes, and safety planning to reduce the risk associated with exploitation.
- Work in partnership with key agencies, including education, health, social care, police, and youth justice services.
- Manage confidentiality and balance the wishes and feelings of children with the need to work in their best interests.
- Have experience and knowledge of working with children and young people impacted by exploitation, serious violence, and mental health worries.
- Be aware of and respond to the equality, diversity, inclusion, and equity needs of children, young people, and their families.
- Work within Barnardo's values and basis.
