Job Title: Service Team Lead
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Team Lead to join our team at Octane Recruitment. As a Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Aftersales Advisors and ensuring that we deliver the best customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the team is organized and prepared for arriving customer appointments.
- Act as a point of escalation for customer issues as required.
- Drive and deliver strong retail service.
- Lead a team of Aftersales Advisors, including providing training and coaching, identifying learning and development opportunities, and completing regular 1-2-1's.
- Provide support for the Service Centre in the absence of the Service Manager, if required.
- Weekly checking of a sample of job cards completed by Technicians, including accurate technician write-up, invoice accuracy, and set up correct labour times.
- Support the Aftersales Advisors and the Service Manager with reducing costs.
- Manage loan vehicles as Service Team Lead.
- Maintain accurate records of customer contact using the complaints system and manage outstanding issues that require resolution in line with the Company's customer complaints procedure.
- Escalate customer concerns where required.
- Ensure that job cards are raised accurately with a full description entered for the required diagnosis/work.
- Ensure that all customers receive regular, proactive, and accurate updates.
Requirements:
- Previous motor trade experience.
- A steady work history.
- At least 2 years' experience working within the motor trade/car dealership as a Service Advisor or Service Supervisor.
- Pinnacle or Kerridge experience is preferable but not essential.
- A confident, friendly, and professional individual with a strong customer service background.
