Job Title: Paint Sprayer

We are seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As a Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for the professional painting of various wood-based products manufactured in our Deeside plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces by cleaning and smoothing them using sandpaper, scrapers, brushes, and solvents.
  • Colour Selection and Mixing: Select, match, and mix colours to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Paint Application: Apply primer coats, main coats, and finishes to achieve a smooth and even finish.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Touch-ups: Touch up paintwork where required to maintain a high standard of quality.
  • Work in a Spray Booth: Work in a spray booth to ensure paint is confined to the specific areas.
  • Meet Deadlines: Complete work from start to finish within set time frames.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Spray Painter with a minimum of 3+ years' experience in a painter or sprayer role.
  • Skills: Skilled in the profession with a minimum of 3+ years' experience in a painter or sprayer role.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and organised with a keen eye for detail.
  • Team Player: Keen to support others and a cooperative team player.
  • Physical Demands: Physical stamina and strength to perform the duties of the role.
