About the Role

As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing test conditions, crafting test scenarios, preparing test data, and executing test cases. You will also document results and compile test outputs to provide evidence for repeatable tests, assist in defect investigations, or maintain a formal audit trail for compliance with specifications. A Quality Engineer is expected to identify and implement automated testing solutions, leveraging their expertise in test automation frameworks and best practices. You will oversee the design, delivery, execution, and upkeep of automated test scripts, reporting outcomes to test management.

  • Promote the Roq QE Ecosystem and our QE Principles
  • Conduct thorough analysis on systems or system components
  • Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, technical teams, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure test specifications are suitable and comprehensive
  • Design and develop test cases and test data, tracking them against requirements
  • Create, build, and sustain automated testing solutions using standard industry tools
  • Utilize and advocate for Roq's proprietary automation accelerators
  • Work in partnership with business personnel, particularly during testing phases such as User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Live Proving
  • Establish and maintain detailed test execution schedules for individual components
  • Execute structured testing across various phases, including functional automation, exploratory, and static testing
  • Document test results and gather relevant test evidence
  • Identify and re-test defects
  • Perform any additional duties as required by the company
