We are excited to present an opportunity to join our esteemed organization as an Asset Protection Specialist within our Response Unit, serving various locations across the UK.
The primary role of the Response Unit is to conduct short-term assignments aimed at safeguarding assets in various settings. These assignments typically last between 2 to 4 nights, based on client requirements, and may arise with little notice. The Response Unit will also offer support at various sites as needed, ensuring compliance with local guidelines and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities· Primarily tasked with the safeguarding of client properties and facilities.
· Traveling to assigned locations to deliver asset protection services.
· Following site-specific guidelines and protocols.
· Preventing unauthorized access to premises and monitoring security systems.
· Managing any equipment provided by clients and conducting regular checks as necessary.
· Offering assistance, guidance, and information to all stakeholders while ensuring the security of the premises.
· Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
· Reporting emergencies to the Operations Centre and following provided instructions.
· Documenting instances of property at risk of theft, damage, or vandalism.
· Implementing the client's security policies when required.
· Conducting preliminary investigations and reporting on incidents and suspicious activities.
· Demonstrating exceptional customer service at all times.
· Assisting with any challenges raised by stakeholders.
· Maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and uniform to uphold the image of the organization.
Essential Qualifications- Must possess a valid SIA Licence.
- Willingness to obtain necessary Security Clearance.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Five-year verifiable employment history or documentation of any gaps in employment.
- No current criminal convictions.
- A full UK driving licence is preferred.
- Ability to embody the core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Understanding and sensitivity towards individuals with disabilities or special needs.
- Commitment to confidentiality.
- Availability for travel and assignments away from home on short notice.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Prior experience in the security sector is advantageous.
- First Aid certification is a plus.
- Experience working in diverse cultural settings is beneficial.
