We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Estates team at Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our engineering staff and contractors, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver planned and reactive maintenance services from the PPM planner, ensuring that operational standards are maintained at all times.
- Work with and support the Projects and Minor Works teams in identifying, scoping, and delivering minor capital works programs.
- Ensure compliance with all processes/procedures and policies that meet organisational standards/requirements, including Health & Safety Policy/HTMs (Health Technical Memoranda) and SFG20.
- Diagnose and repair faults in electrical and engineering installation, plant and equipment, to deal with new situations as they arise and pass on knowledge to others.
- Completion of all designated maintenance tasks in line with statutory requirements, and to a high standard.
