Role Summary:

The successful candidate will be integrated into the Asset Planning & Solutions practice within the Infrastructure division. Responsibilities will encompass the delivery of diverse infrastructure projects, both domestically and internationally. Key tasks include providing technical insights, engaging in computer hydraulic modelling, utilizing Geographic Information Systems, conducting data analysis, assisting in project management, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Occasional site visits or client interactions may be required. This position offers substantial opportunities for professional growth and training for the right individual.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to learn and advance technically, aiming for professional qualifications such as ICE or CIWEM. They should be self-driven and capable of collaborating effectively within a team, taking on responsibilities as necessary. A solid understanding of the evolving Water Industry and its impact on design and performance standards is essential.

Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in Engineering or Water Management or equivalent experience.
Essential Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Motivated to enhance technical expertise and experience.
  • Strong interest in the UK Water Industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with Clean Water modelling software (e.g., InfoWorks, Synergi, InfoWater).
  • Excellent teamwork capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
  • Significant experience within the water sector.
  • Familiarity with programming tools such as FME and Visual Basic.
  • Working knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (MapInfo, ArcGIS).
  • Experience in field testing and data collection within the water sector.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver projects collaboratively and independently as required.
  • Manage and coordinate field testing for model validation and calibration.
  • Utilize hydraulic models for both planning and operational objectives.
  • Investigate and resolve water infrastructure challenges through innovative design solutions.
