Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at G4S Business Unit: US Youth Services. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the electrical systems within our Health contract at Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faults on electrical support systems, rectifying issues within your level of competence.
  • Perform maintenance inspections and repairs on various types of electrical, mechanical, and security systems.
  • Assist in the training and development of other maintenance/technical staff involved in site maintenance activities.
  • Use computer-based monitoring instruments and systems for effective control and operation of plant and fault diagnosis.
  • Participate in a rostered on-call system and be available to do overtime as required.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified and experienced electrical or mechanical engineer.
  • Relevant post-apprenticeship experience in building and facilities maintenance.
  • At least 5 years minimum experience in building and facilities maintenance.
