We are in search of a skilled and seasoned Sous Chef for a distinctive fresh food venue and wine bar. Our focus is on delivering an extraordinary dining experience through the use of premium, fresh ingredients in our offerings, which range from artisanal pizzas to vibrant salads.

As the Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring seamless workflow, effective communication, and the preparation of high-quality dishes. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all facets of food preparation, particularly in the areas of pizzas and Italian-inspired cuisine, while ensuring consistency and adherence to our quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory and control costs by minimizing waste and ensuring proper storage.
• Implement efficient kitchen processes to enhance productivity.
• Train, mentor, and inspire kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Ideal candidates will have proven experience as a Sous Chef in a respected fresh food establishment. Attention to detail and creativity in food preparation and presentation are essential.
