Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our Commercial Finance team. The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive management accounting and reporting service, ensuring timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts for the Commercial division, including variance analysis and insightful narratives.
  • Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and reviewed regularly, with timely resolution of any discrepancies.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to all accounting policies and practices.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing valuable insights and analysis.
  • Partner with the wider Commercial team, fostering strong relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives and embrace new technologies.
  • Contribute to the development of a high-performing Commercial Finance team.

Requirements

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with experience in a similar role within a multi-divisional group structure.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliation.
  • Strong technical accounting skills, with a high level of numeracy and proficiency in Microsoft applications (particularly Excel).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive and results-oriented approach.
  • A willingness to learn, adapt to change, and embrace new ideas.
