About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Director to join our team at National Children's Orchestras of Great Britain. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in driving our fundraising strategy and securing the resources needed to deliver our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure £300,000 in annual funding from trusts, foundations, and corporate partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including major donors, trusts, and foundations.
  • Collaborate with our Board and Senior Leadership Team to identify and pursue new funding opportunities.
  • Manage and grow our Financial Support Programme, enabling children from lower-income families to participate in our music programmes.
  • Work closely with our Development Team to develop and implement effective fundraising campaigns and events.
