About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and organized individual to join our team as a Casual Support Worker. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with their discharge from Daisy Hill Hospital in Newry, County Armagh.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acting on referrals from Daisy Hill Hospital to collect patients who are ready for discharge.
  • Transporting patients home using a British Red Cross vehicle.
  • Ensuring patients are settled at home following their hospital discharge.
Requirements
  • Thoughtful, caring, and patient approach when interacting with vulnerable individuals.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary setting.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively.
  • Basic IT literacy.
