We are seeking an Undergraduate Industrial Placement Analytical Scientist to join our Global Respiratory Group at Viatris. As an Analytical Scientist, you will play a crucial role in the development of respiratory medicines, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality results and contribute to the success of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out analytical activities to support the development of new respiratory products, including assay, emitted dose, and aerodynamic particle size analysis.
- Support the development of analytical methods and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform data analysis and interpretation to generate scientific understanding and inform product development decisions.
- Maintain laboratory documentation and instrumentation, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Contribute to project delivery by carrying out other tasks as required, such as laboratory housekeeping and ordering.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong foundation in analytical chemistry and a passion for working in a laboratory environment. You should have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals.
Desirable skills and experience include knowledge of modern instrumental methods of analysis, such as HPLC, and experience in the development and testing of inhalation products.
