Job Summary:

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Support Systems Engineer to become part of our team. This position is well-suited for individuals with a background in IT support or security systems who are eager to shift from hands-on roles to a support-focused environment. In this capacity, you will serve as the primary contact for our clients, delivering technical assistance and ensuring the effective functioning of security and monitoring systems.

Key Duties:

  • Deliver first-level technical assistance to clients through various communication channels.
  • Diagnose and resolve challenges associated with security and monitoring systems.
  • Oversee system performance and escalate concerns to higher-level support when required.
  • Assist in the installation and configuration of security and monitoring systems.
  • Keep precise records of support inquiries and their resolutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on special initiatives and projects.
  • Engage in continuous training to remain informed about emerging technologies and systems.
  • Provide remote technical assistance, programming, and diagnostics for CCTV, Intruder, and Access Control Systems.

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience as a first-line support engineer or in security systems.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to adhere to a shift-based work schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a comparable role.
  • Basic knowledge of security and monitoring systems is advantageous, though not essential as training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with CCTV, Intruder, and Access Control Systems is beneficial, but not mandatory as training will be provided.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Clean criminal history.
