Procurement Manager Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a key member of our Major Equipment Procurement (MEP) department, you will partner with suppliers worldwide to deliver world-leading defence capabilities for our Home Nations and their Allies.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead the preparation, negotiation, implementation, and performance of subcontracts across the entire life cycle of missiles and missile systems
* Ensure contracts are effectively managed to time, cost, and quality, resulting in the delivery of high-value and sophisticated sub-systems
* Provide commercial guidance to internal customers and manage risk and opportunity to safeguard interests

**Performance Management**

* Undertake performance management activities to ensure suppliers deliver in line with subcontract obligations
* Identify and mitigate commercial and business risks relating to the suppliers you are responsible for
* Obtain quotations and other critical intelligence from suppliers to enable MBDA to bid for new business

**Requirements**

* Keen to learn or bring experience in procurement subcontract management, e.g. negotiation, contract, and terms and conditions
* Continually improve opportunities, analyze situations, and present possibilities while balancing risk

**What We Offer**

* Flexible approach to onsite and remote working, 2 days a week on site
* Salary: Up to £48,000 depending on experience
* Company bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance and will vary year to year)
* Pension: maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14%
