Key Responsibilities- Algorithm Development: You will utilize the latest research to optimize, fine-tune, and customize Large Language Models (LLMs) for edge device inferencing.
- Technical Design and Architecture: You will contribute to the technical design, architecture, development, and evaluation of foundation models.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: You will document ongoing work and share findings to foster innovation within the group, adhering to ethics and privacy policies during research processes and information collection.
- Collaboration and Integration: You will collaborate with senior team members and integrate cutting-edge research, gaining a deep understanding of community methods and developing expertise in a specialized area.
- Engineering and Product Development: You will work closely with engineering and product development teams to bring compelling new experiences to the market.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field, or Master's or PhD in a relevant field.
- Technical Skills: Advanced experience with PyTorch and Python, experience with building large language models, familiarity with Language models, transformers like BERT, GPT-3, Llama, and experience with Parameter-Efficient Fine-Tuning methods for foundational models.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a record of publications in top-tier conferences or journals a plus.
- Additional Education: Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Additional Technical Skills: Experience with model quantization, distributed training libraries like DeepSpeed, and familiarity with AzureML, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD.
