HGV Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our client's busy team in the Huddersfield area. As a HGV Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining HGVs to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and repairing HGVs to ensure they are roadworthy and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Completing job sheets and documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Liaising with the service department and parts department to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Preparing HGVs for MOT inspections.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an HGV Technician or equivalent.
  • Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • A Class 1 Licence is desirable but not essential.
