Job Title: Clinical Placement Lead

We are seeking an experienced clinician to join our team as a Clinical Placement Lead. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your skills and expertise to coordinate and monitor practice learning opportunities for students from various educational settings within the NHS Trust.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and monitor practice learning opportunities for students from various educational settings.
  • Work with the placement team and wider clinical education team to ensure all placement data is captured and reported upon for compliance, associated funding, and placement quality.
About You:

You will need to embody the NHS Trust values and be committed to developing and delivering a high-quality service that is student-focused. As an experienced Ambulance Technician or Clinician, you will hold at least a Dip HE/FdSc in a directly related subject and be willing to undertake professional development.

Due to recent developments within education, you must be confident to utilize online systems, such as MS Teams and virtual learning environments, to undertake the role.

Person Specification:
  • HCPC Registered Paramedic or Registered Nurse or Registered Allied Health Professional/Ambulance Technician
  • Understanding/Knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel
Experience:
  • 3 years operational/clinical experience in a healthcare role
  • Experience as a Practice Educator/Mentor
  • Experience of working with universities on practice placement activities
  • Experience working with other healthcare professionals
