Your Responsibilities
- Engage with Businesses: As a Business Energy Consultant, you will spend your time communicating with small business owners and decision-makers, elucidating the advantages of renewable energy and assisting them in transitioning to Octopus Energy.
- Customer Experience Focus: We are passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience, going above and beyond to ensure every business interaction leaves a positive impression of Octopus, regardless of whether they choose to switch.
- Multi-Channel Engagement: You will connect with customers through various channels, primarily at their business locations, while also representing our services at events, trade shows, and conferences across the country.
- Product Development Input: Your insights will help shape the small business offerings we provide. Feedback from our Business Energy Consultants is crucial for developing new tariffs, launching initiatives, and refining existing services.
- Enhance Customer Experience: We will equip you with the necessary tools to discuss domestic energy solutions, solar options, heat pumps, and additional services.
What We Are Looking For
- Ability to work both collaboratively in small teams and independently, demonstrating self-motivation and confidence.
- A sincere and diligent approach to daily tasks, as we value team members who genuinely enjoy assisting customers and supporting one another.
- Previous experience in a B2B environment or the energy sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with the business sales cycle, including effective diary management and pipeline oversight, is beneficial.
