Lead Sustainability Consultant

This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with a minimum of 5 years of expertise in sustainability within the construction sector. You will join a design consultancy renowned for its innovative approach to building services and acoustics, fostering creativity in the workplace.

Key Qualifications for the Lead Sustainability Consultant:

  1. Possess a degree in sustainability, environmental management, or geography.
  2. Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sustainability consultancy or construction-related sustainability roles.
  3. Demonstrate proficiency in advising on and implementing BREEAM, WELL, and Fitwel certifications.
  4. Exhibit a solid understanding of and experience in formulating comprehensive circular economy strategies.
  5. Preferably, have experience in preparing documentation for planning applications.

Responsibilities of the Lead Sustainability Consultant:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Deliver expert technical analysis and guidance to shape sustainability strategies. Facilitate workshops to assist clients in defining their sustainability objectives.
  2. Collaborative Engagement: Partner with the consulting team to develop, implement, and monitor sustainability objectives and targets across various projects.
  3. Project Oversight: Manage project execution, ensuring compliance with sustainability goals while mentoring junior team members.
  4. Team Leadership: Support the management and operation of the Sustainability Team, including project governance, forecasting, and bidding processes.
  5. Industry Advocacy: Represent the company in industry working groups and engage with professional institutions to share insights and promote best practices.
