Job Summary: Ideal Recruit Ltd is seeking a reliable and dedicated Gatehouse Keeper to join our team in Widnes. As a Gatehouse Keeper, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling access to the premises, greeting and assisting visitors and drivers, conducting security checks, and maintaining logs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control: Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring that only authorized personnel and visitors enter the site.
- Visitor Management: Greet and assist visitors and drivers, providing a welcoming and secure environment.
- Security Checks: Conduct regular security checks and maintain accurate logs to ensure the safety and security of the site.
- Site Safety: Ensure the safety and security of the site, identifying and reporting any potential security risks or incidents.
Requirements:
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and visitors.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Shift Pattern: Ability to work a 12-hour shift pattern on a 4 on 4 off basis, with flexibility to work varying shifts as required.
- Availability: Immediate availability is required, with the ability to start work at short notice.
