Your Responsibilities

As a Property Transfer Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to manage and ensure the effective functioning of your conveyancing team, delivering high-quality service to clients. You will handle freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, and unregistered titles, managing both sale and purchase transactions. Identifying and resolving complex issues is essential, as is achieving monthly billing objectives. You will foster and maintain strong relationships with agents and other referrers, acting on the instructions of and reporting to Partners and the Head of Residential Conveyancing. Adherence to anti-money laundering regulations and maintaining high standards of file management are critical components of your role. You will consistently strive to enhance operational standards.


Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Ideally a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive, though not mandatory.
  • Professional Experience: At least 2 years in a busy conveyancing environment with a minimum of 1 year managing a high-volume caseload.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in managing freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, sale, purchase, re-mortgage, and transfer of equity transactions from start to finish.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent client care and communication abilities.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong literacy, numeracy, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal Skills: A pleasant, adaptable, and cooperative demeanor.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational abilities, maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Team Collaboration: Willingness to support colleagues as needed.


Compensation Details

  • Salary Range: £25,000 - £55,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Location: Various offices with a flexible approach to in-office requirements
  • Support Structure: 1 or 2 dedicated assistants/paralegals based on caseload
