Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Design Engineer to join our team at Hydrock. As a Geotechnical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in advising on the scoping of site investigations, interpreting field data, and producing geotechnical design reports.

About the Role

  • Design and develop geotechnical solutions for complex projects, including data centres, ports, and harbours.
  • Collaborate with our geotechnical design team to produce high-quality geotechnical design reports and construction phase support.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ground investigation techniques and experience in specifying geotechnical testing.
  • Design and specify geotechnical structures, including foundations, earthworks, ground improvement, slopes, embankments, and gravity structures.
  • Work closely with our remediation team to develop and implement geotechnical solutions for large-scale earthworks projects.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of software tools, including Oasys Pile, Alp, PDisp, Adsec, ADC, Rocscience Slide, WALLAP, AutoCAD, and Excel.
  • Write interpretive geotechnical reports and provide technical support to our clients.
