Wood Machinist

Join a reputable manufacturer of tooling as a Wood Machinist - CNC Specialist and take advantage of a stable and growing industry. This role involves operating a 5 axis CNC machine to regrind carbide tooling, working alongside a team of experienced machinists, and contributing to the production of high-quality products.
About the Role:- Operate a 5 axis CNC machine to regrind carbide tooling
- Use various inspection equipment to ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerances
- Work alongside a team of machinists to achieve production targets
- Scope to learn advanced machining skills, such as programming

What We Offer:- Competitive salary depending on experience + 25% shift premium
- 22 days holiday + bank holidays
- Scope for some overtime at x1.5 hourly rate
- Experience in CNC machining, preferably with a background in woodworking
- Ability to work a rotating shift pattern
- Flexibility to run two machines with short machining cycles
