Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Support Assistant to join our team in a local SEND school. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with challenging behavior and additional needs.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Provide individualized support to students with SEND, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development
- Assist with lesson planning and implementation, ensuring that students with SEND are fully integrated into the curriculum
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience working with children or adults with SEND or challenging behavior
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
