Academic Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to inspire and engage students in the study of English literature and language.

• Deliver engaging English lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in line with the national curriculum.
• Monitor and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school training events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop new curriculum materials and teaching resources.
• Contribute to the school's extracurricular programmes, such as reading clubs or writing workshops.

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in English.
• Demonstrable experience in teaching English at secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and current educational practices.
