About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Ground Engineer to join our Ground Assessment team to work across our Energy Sector. As a key member of our team, you will play a fundamental role in identifying innovative and sustainable solutions, planning technical delivery, and leading a multidisciplinary team from concept stage through to final implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver geotechnical assessment and design projects, utilizing your expertise in UK & Ireland geology and geotechnical/geo-environmental principles.
  • Foster new and existing stakeholder relationships, and provide exceptional client service.
  • Lead geotechnical investigations, from planning and execution to data analysis and report writing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our services.
Requirements
  • Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering subject (e.g. geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology, geology or a related subject).
  • Chartered status would be an advantage.
  • Experience of delivering geotechnical assessment and design projects.
  • Strong understanding of UK & Ireland geology and geotechnical/geo-environmental principles.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical engineering software (e.g., SLOPE/W, PLAXIS).
