They manufacture a wide range of food products, from raw and cooked meats to vegetables, ingredients for prepared meals, and components for other food manufacturers.

The Candidate

  • Must have proven leadership skills in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Track record of achieving results through teams and driving operational efficiencies.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy, with effective communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with complexity and change, prioritise effectively, and deliver within short timescales.
  • Creative mindset, looking for opportunities to improve current practices and drive innovation.
  • Previous experience of working in the Food and Drink industry, preferably in a regulated environment.

The Role

  • Develop and maintain a continuous improvement culture, driving operational efficiencies and identifying improvements to working practices.
  • Manage teams across operations and warehousing, driving efficiencies and working towards common goals.
  • Ensure all products are manufactured to the required product safety and quality standards, safely and on time.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the teams, including managers, supervisors, technicians, and production operatives.
  • Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback to enhance employee productivity and morale.
