About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Acute Medicine Consultant to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Acute Medicine department, you will provide clinical leadership and direction for the multi-professional team in the management of acute medical patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead ward rounds and direct the management of patients
  • Perform practical procedures and teach junior medical and other staff
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings and participate in governance activities
  • Liaise with other professionals within and outside the Trust as required
Requirements
  • Full and specialist registration in AIM or GIM with the GMC
  • Experience of thorough and broad training and experience in acute medicine
  • Able to take responsibility for delivering service without direct supervision
What We Offer
  • Recruitment and retention premium up to £20,000
  • Relocation allowance and support up to £8,000
  • Negotiable job plans up to a maximum of 12PAs
  • Ability to pursue specialist interests and split job plans
